Interview: On Morality and Human Respect
My colleague Conner Drigotas — who is the managing editor of the award-winning outlet, Connecticut Inside Investigator — recently interviewed me about the Catholic faith, what it’s meant in my life, the roots of Western civilization’s morality, and generational evangelization.
We also focused on the Moral Principle of Human Respect, which is “To promote happiness, harmony, and prosperity, I will neither initiate violence against others, nor will I diminish the wealth of others through theft, fraud, or destruction of their property.”
Essentially, the main question we deliberated was whether Catholicism has the “moral high ground” when it conflicts with the Moral Principle of Human Respect.
To say I was honored is an understatement. And to think I had anything worthy to offer is also humbling.
I hope you enjoy our conversation.
